Exciting times ahead as this rapidly growing international biopharmaceutical company dedicated to delivering life-changing therapies for rare disease patients, continues its' growth in the Australian market. As geographic expansion is an important aspect of their strategy, they have established an Australian subsidiary and are looking for an experienced Medical Science Liaison to join their medical team for NSW & QLD.
Reporting to the Medical Director, your key responsibilities will include:
implementing and executing medical strategy for existing and launch products across NSW.
developing and communicating in-depth scientific knowledge of the rare disorders by using using the support of strong scientific data to build advocacy.
establishing collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders, prominent academic and clinical investigators and leaders of medical and scientific organizations.
managing symposium's, speaker training, and advisory boards
identify and communicate key clinical and research insights to build and help develop research business strategy
working collaboratively with your cross-functional local and global teams
maintaining the highest level of knowledge across all competing products
The successful candidate will have:
degree qualifications in Life Sciences or related fields
experience as an MSL in Rare Diseases, Oncology, Immunology, Hematology (prior experience in clinical research is advantageous)
strong presentation and relationship building skills
high organisational skills and attention to detail
strong written and verbal communication skills
a strategic mindset
willingness to travel
Candidates with a background in Rare Diseases, Haematology, Immunology or related fields will be highly regarded for this role.
