The Role

Reporting to the Cluster Manager, this position is responsible for delivering the departments financial targets and company key performance indicators focusing heavily on creating a warm and genuine customer service experience. This role will also build a team that is empowered to exceed within the department and the retail store as a whole.

Key Responsibilities

To drive sales and profit ensuring the achievement of all KPI’s as set by the company

Provide inspirational leadership, training and developing team capability

Maintain a focus on commercial acumen ensuring the team have an understanding of the performance of the department / store

Effectively manage costs

Drive a customer centric culture creating a warm and genuine customer service experience

Adhere to all company behaviours, policies and procedures

The Ideal Candidate will have

Experience in managing a high sales turnover retail business

Demonstrated experience in managing for profit, with a commercial approach

A passion for the retail industry, exceptional service and a strong sense of personal style and presentation

Experience managing the performance, training and development of a medium to large team

Skills associated with driving productivity with team members
