Job Purpose
We are looking for a Downstream Process Engineer experienced in Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide value chain processes to join our Global Manufacturing Excellence team within the Downstream Global Manufacturing Support Department (GMSD) of our client. The primary focus will be on providing technical support to manufacturing facilities worldwide, particularly in Saudi Arabia, for refining, NGLF, and petrochemical plants.
Responsibilities
Monitoring and optimizing existing manufacturing facilities related to Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide through key performance indicators (KPIs) for operability, profitability, reliability, and safety.
Issuing quarterly benchmarking reports and providing recommendations for performance improvement.
Supporting facilities in implementing recommendations and optimizing unit performance.
Conducting workshops for best practices exchange among facilities.
Providing technical advisory support for plant operations and troubleshooting.
Coordinating corporate programs and participating in business planning and capital investment evaluations.
Participating in safety studies, incident investigations, and operational troubleshooting.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).
Minimum 15 years of experience in refinery or petrochemical process units, with at least 10 years in Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide value chain.
Exposure to various process licensor technologies is advantageous.
Strong mentorship skills and familiarity with international engineering standards.
