An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Industrial Engineer to join our Ballarat Chocolate Factory, home of many well-loved brands such as Snickers, Malteasers and M&Ms. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth running of the factory on both a short and long term basis. This role leads the transformational agenda to deliver the strategic cost structure for the Labour budget and advises strategically the Plant Director and the Factory Management Team (FMT), in terms of performance of the factory, and provides recommendations to develop the site.
What are we looking for?
Experience in an FMCG environment where you have developed project management, analytical and leadership skills
A leadership style that will inspire and lead change across the factory
A confident communicator with engaging interpersonal skills
The ability to quickly make and influence effective decisions using data analysis, observation and problem-solving skills
Degree in Industrial Engineering/Engineering or Business Administration
Relevant experience in Production or Finance as a minimum requirement for professional experience
What would be your key responsibilities?
Factory strategy development with Plant Director, aligned to regional strategy
Lead transformational initiatives to deliver strategic Labour cost ambition
Manage the site Small Minor budget in cooperation with the Site Technical Manager and contribute to large and major investment request for the site
Support factory Key Performance Indicators and target setting
Site governance for activity development and implementation
