About the role
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from Project Engineers (Mechanical) to work on a resources project based in the Albany Region of Western Australia. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, this role will operate on a FIFO or DIDO basis.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that project plans are implemented in accordance with designs and specifications.
Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects, review and make recommendations for improvements, as appropriate.
Support the procurement process for contractors with the Commercial / Procurement team.
Monitor construction progress for the area of work against programme and budget and report to the Project Manager.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with all key stakeholders relating to the area of work.
About you
A relevant engineering degree (Mechanical)
Experience on SMP mining / resources based projects.
