It also houses our e-commerce function ensuring all of our valued online customers receive their orders on time and in full, in our beautiful packaging.
As we embark on a game changing Supply Chain transformation journey, we’re looking for an experienced People & Education Partner to join us and support all of our key people initiatives that will shape the future of MECCA Supply Chain and our DC.
The Role You Could Play:
Reporting in to our People & Education Manager - Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Distribution Centre leadership team to deliver an exceptional service to our customers. This is a true generalist role where you will drive a positive impact across all aspects of the team member life cycle, focusing on advisory and driving projects through to completion.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
· Supporting the timely execution of People & Education plan activities across the Distribution Centre ensuring alignment to business priorities and strategic focuses.
· Manager ER/IR issues end-to-end, providing advice, consultation and coaching to the business on relevant policies and employment instruments, and escalating matters when needed.
· Building leadership capability and providing coaching and guidance to managers where required
· Partner with DC leaders to determine training gaps ie conduct training needs analysis within the business unit.
· Supporting cyclical performance processes
· Participating in local recruitment initiatives
· Supporting the development of project plans and executing initiatives that support the broader Supply Chain P&E Plan.
This role will require you to spend a good portion of your time at our Distribution Centre, based in Tullamarine building strong relationships with key stakeholders and the wider DC team. You will also be required to attend various meetings, days and events at our Support Centre, based in Richmond.
What You Will Bring:
As a highly organised and master relationship builder, you are comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced environment where you apply a people-first and pragmatic mindset to everything you do. You have outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, and you love partnering with leaders and team members in a coaching capacity.
Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate:
· A completed tertiary qualification majoring in HR (or equivalent)
· Operational and strategic HR generalist experience in supply chain or a similar industry, supporting a large team member base
· Strong case management experience, with an eye for detail
· Excellent influencing skills, with an understanding of driving change on a larger scale
· The ability to solve problems creatively and draw on your best-practice HR experience
· Experience operating with Enterpise Agreements
· Exposure to high volume recruitment and sourcing best practices (preferred)
