The Role
The Client Technology Partner is a leadership role for one of our clients within the client technology services domain which has accountability for the delivery of Link’s Technology services to the client. The primary objective of the role is to provide strategic partnership and enablement of Link’s technology strategy & assets for client’s needs.
The role is also responsible for Client engagement to establish the scope of the Client’s technology objectives and potential integration patterns, as well as the provision of IT consulting services as and when required. The role will support the Head of Client Technology Services in the conception and delivery of Link’s overall Client technology and integration strategy.
Key accountabilities and main responsibilities
Build a high performing and accountable team focused on client service delivery, operational risk management, product, and service knowledge.
Formulate strategic plans and roadmaps with Clients and Link internal stakeholders for current & future technology and integration services
Develop a body of knowledge for Link’s technology and integration services for internal stakeholders and Client’s awareness and education
Actively promote Link’s technology and integration services to Clients in concert with the Client Partnership Managers.
Lead and manage the teams assembled to deliver the technology services to Clients
Review, complete and present regular status reports to the Clients and internally at Link
Manage and respond to the Clients requests and proposals in a timely manner
Coordinate with Link Client Partnership and Service Delivery teams for proactive and consistent communications to Clients
Act as a primary internal stakeholder for Link technology and foster collaborative and mutually supportive relationships with stakeholders
Liaise with internal technology teams on a strategic and day to day basis
Identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
Liaise with internal stakeholders for project estimations, architectural approaches, release schedules and other matters
Engage the required resources to ensure the timely delivery of services
Ensure the Link Group Technology services team, when it comes to Risk, Security, Audit and control frameworks are aligned to meet the requirements of the technology business policy, industry ratings and Australian Regulatory frameworks.
Ensure that the principles in the control frameworks are clearly understood by the teams delivering the service and embedded into their ways of working.
Ensure the technology and integration services team consider the end-to-end operational impacts and information security requirements
Ensuring all outstanding actions are completed; responsible for driving incidents and any audit items to closure.
Experience & Personal Attributes
Experience in delivering high quality technical services and technology consulting services to Clients
Proven knowledge and experience with technology services, API’s, and other integration patterns
Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically with a commercial focus and respond to emerging issues and develop appropriate strategies and plans.
Lead a team of mainly technical resources to ensure appropriate outcomes for the Client and for Link
Work through escalations from the team and clients and provide support when required.
Act as a single point of contact between funds and IT related issues including project and client works. Liaise with funds from IT perspective.
Ability to maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is required.
Effective communication skills with all levels of the organisation (written and verbal); in particular, have the ability to explain complex technical concepts and issues in a way non-technical people can understand.
Ability to approach technical issues and problems in an analytical and solutions focused manner
Understanding and appreciation for a disciplined IT approach to incident, problem and change management
