About the service
The 120-place service is centrally located, close to public transport, and provides a parking spotfor the leader. Itsunwavering dedication to delivering top-tier early childhood education and care has established it as the preferred choice for families within the local community.
About the role
The ideal candidate will champion a nurturing and engaging environment while ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and guidelines.You must demonstrate a proven ability to use your communication skills to persuade, engage, inspire, and motivate a team of passionate Educators to deliver optimal learning outcomes for the families being served.
You will oversee the daily operations, including but not limited to:
Guiding and mentoring a small-medium team of Educators
Supporting and upholding the Centres policies, procedures, philosophy and regulations,
Attend to administration tasks
Develop collaborative partnerships with families
Develop meaningful relationships with the wider local community
Ensure the highest quality of education and care is transferred throughout.
The non-negotiables
Diploma in Child Services (or higher)
Minimum of 1-2 years continuous experience as a Centre Manager
Strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS), ability to develop a QIP
Outstanding level of Verbal and Written Communication
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with families and the wider community
Strong organisational and time management skills
