This is a permanent full-time position based in Launceston
The position will commence 1st July 2024.

Anglicare provides the Housing Connect Front Door Service across Tasmania. Housing Connect is the entry point for assistance for people who are experiencing homelessness or are in housing need.
Use your experience, skills and enthusiasm to help make a difference with people at risk of homelessness.
About the Role:
We seek an experienced leader in the community sector who can develop and manage relationships to ensure our service users are connected to the resources, networks and opportunities they require. They will need to use data and learnings to work in collaboration with other senior Housing Connect personnel to leverage these valuable connections.
To be successful you will have:
Demonstrated experience in identifying, engaging, advocating and managing collaborative partnerships and leveraging services and community resources in line with the Housing Connect individual service users' requirements.
Capacity to collect and present data to teams and stakeholders to evaluate, improve and innovate service delivery.
Demonstrated understanding and experience in the design and application of evidence-based services.
Demonstrated experience in building, inspiring and leading teams.
The Senior Connections Manager :
Develops and maintains collaborative working relationships and partnership opportunities spanning government, business, community services, philanthropy, education providers and other key external stakeholders and partners with shared values and purpose.
Works with key stakeholders and Housing Connect staff to provide high-quality, integrated services to people seeking assistance.
Provides advice and guidance to develop, implement, refine and continuously improve Housing Connect Front Door services.
Ensure that timely and accurate data is collected and disseminated to support evaluation, continuous improvement and funding requirements.

an attractive salary of $95,025 to $99,353

The successful applicant will be required to:
provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category) including NDIS Worker Screening Check
present an unsupervised contact with children or vulnerable people type National Police Check (no older than 12 months);
provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16;
provide a satisfactory Anglicare-assessed medical:
provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver’s Licence.
On commencement, the successful applicant will be required to undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program.
