Modern and advanced, Smart building technologies are creating a safer, more sustainable, cost efficient and resilient built environment and driving enhanced user experience.

Smart Buildings put people and experiences first; transforming property into a flexible live-work-play space, adaptable to the needs of its users through data-driven insights. Defined as the interface between the infrastructure, building systems and technologies deployed, a well-executed smart buildings strategy tailors the outcomes to the people, spaces and activities within a building. We take a pragmatic approach to ensure buildability and performance, including measuring your sustainability and wellness goals. Smart technologies in buildings can serve as the frontline of defence in cybersecurity, protecting your assets. Prepare technical documents for planning, preparation of specifications and drawings, calling of tenders and providing construction service support including testing and commissioning.

Maintain strong customer relationships for the execution of projects and participate in business development.

Support other Project Engineer’s in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction.

Provide support and mentoring to Junior staff members

Support clients and internal customers on technical queries

To be successful for this role you'll need:

Experience in designing or implementing service of one of the following systems: DAS, wireless coverage, real-time location, VoIP, public call, intercom and building automation.

General understanding of network protocols and concepts (IP addressing, subnet masks, VLAN, link aggregation, DHCP protocol, etc.).

Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (AS/NZ, IEC, ANSI / TIA, BICSI, IEEE, CSA, OBC, NBC).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to innovate based on customer and industry requirements

Positive, can-do attitude

Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
