Key Responsibilities:
Provides expert legal advice and support on major infrastructure projects, including contract drafting, negotiation, and interpretation.

Drafts, reviews, and negotiates a wide range of legal documents, including construction contracts, subcontracts, and supply agreements.

Provides guidance and training to project teams on legal matters, including contract administration and risk management.
Liaises with external legal counsel and third-party advisors as necessary to manage legal risks effectively.
Monitors changes in legislation, regulations, and industry trends impacting infrastructure projects and advises stakeholders accordingly.
Assists in the development and implementation of internal policies, procedures, and contract templates.
Supports the resolution of legal issues and disputes that may arise during project execution through external counsel.
Participates in project meetings and decision-making processes to provide legal input.
Leads the development and implementation of innovative legal strategies to enhance project delivery processes and legal efficiency across the organization.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Practicing Certificate.
Demonstrated experience of at least 7 years in post-admission roles (PQE), ideally specializing in construction law, infrastructure projects, or related fields.
Proven track record of successful negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
In-depth understanding of the legal intricacies of infrastructure projects, including contract drafting, risk management, and compliance considerations.
