About the Role
The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will also build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:
Access control duties
Conduct mobile/foot patrols including lockup and unlock activities of infrastructure and gates
Conduct visitor/permit holder inductions and generate and issue access card’s
Manage and perform bag and vehicle searches to identify prohibited, restricted unauthorised items
Monitor CCTV visual displays to manage and identify unauthorized access
Security support activities at client supplied camp accommodation
Skills & Experience
Current QLD Security licence with Unarmed, Crowd Control and Monitoring functions
Certificate II in Security Operations
Current First Aid and CPR certificate
Current open drivers’ licence
Intermediate computer skills
The successful candidate must have unrestricted availability to work a 24/7 roster
