Key responsibilities for this position include:
Establish and maintain strong business partnerships with key stakeholders.
Enable effective 'whole of business' decision making and risk management that is proactive and cross-functionally efficient
Engage with stakeholders across the business to deliver on Quality improvement activities and initiatives
Support to deliver on defined Business Quality Objectives and KPI's.
Train, coach, advise leaders and employees in the autonomous and the effective application of quality processes and systems, drive continuous improvement throughout all business processes within remit
Ensure Ridley is compliant with Feedsafety, Quality and Biosecurity requirements
Provide broad, generalist advice on full Quality remit including Biosecurity
Support sites to sustain product quality and where necessary improve product quality
Coach managers and employees on the implementation and maintenance of management systems
Source external technical solutions as required
Develop (or source) and deliver training programs
Review and maintain quality & business procedures, tools and manage incident data and communication systems including appropriate reporting mechanisms.
Investigate quality incidents with stakeholders across the Ridley business
Liaison with external authorities and bodies related to Quality
Monitor external practices and recommend fit for use initiatives that are fit to be applied within Ridley
Coordinate, schedule, monitor and measure quality culture initiatives
Be a high profile safety leader in Ridley and assist HSE to deliver a strong safety culture and application of HSE systems
Key requirements for this role include:
Strong organisational and communication skills
Tertiary qualifications in science, safety/enviro, food technology, nutrition or related fields or equivalent experience
Extensive experience in Food safety and Quality Assurance or Food Technology
Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
Partnering and stakeholder management skills
