Clinical leadership opportunity
As the Care Manager you will be responsible for the provision ofquality care and clinical services for our residents. Reportingdirectly to the CEO, this role has a strong leadership focus. Youwill be an active member of the management team contributing to thestrategic direction of Ashleigh House. You will manage, coach andmentor the care staff to ensure services are delivered inaccordance with best practice, and clinical policy and proceduresare compliant with legislative and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the provision of care for Ashleigh House residentsin line with the Aged Care Quality Standards
Facilitate continuity of care for residents ensuringconsistency in care within a shift-based environment.
Ensure that all resident documentation is up to date andreflective of our care and inline with the Aged Care QualityStandards.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the carestaff and the wider organisation
Support the professional development of care staffmonitoring the skills and capability matrices. Coaching,mentoring and organising formal learning where required.
Deliver key management and regulatory reports on care andquality indicators.
Contribute to the Medication, Quality Care advisoryCommittee and Clinical Governance Committees
Desirable skills and experience:
Experience acting in a leadership capacity, ability toestablish credibility and rapport at all levels.
Knowledge and understand of the Aged Care Quality standardsand how the provision of care services aligns with thesestandards.
Foundational understanding of management principles.
Ability to coach and mentor clinical staff, develop skillsmatrices and to plan for clinical skills uplift.
Intermediate computer skills including experience using aclinical documentation system and Microsoft Office
Demonstrated ability to analyse clinical indicators anddata and complete mandatory and management reporting.
