Job Description – Director, Relationship Management and Sales
The Director, Relationship Management and Sales manages the business relationships between P97 and its customers, fostering and expanding the revenue each generates for P97, as well as signing new logos and assisting as necessary to ensure a smooth implementation and ongoing customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will establish relationships with multiple levels of P97’s customer relationships and grow each account’s revenue and sell P97’s suite of products and services to logos new to P97.
Role Responsibilities
· Cultivate executive-level relationships within an assigned client portfolio to drive P97's revenue growth in the APAC region.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
· Conduct comprehensive market research on current and potential P97 clients to drive revenue growth in the APAC region.
· Strategize, own, and execute the pursuit strategy to drive initial and repeat business.
· Lead contract negotiations, ensure contractual compliance, and oversee commercial aspects of client relationships.
· Develop, propose, and justify optimized pricing structures for each client engagement.
· Assume ultimate responsibility for the revenue growth and profitability of each client relationship in the APAC region.
· International travel approximately 30%, subject to business needs.
Requirements
Qualifications
· 5+ years' business development experience in the APAC Petro / Convenience Store ecosystem as a vendor or retailer
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Business Management, or equivalent work experience
· Excellent presentation skills including the ability to craft professional slide decks, commercial propositions, and deliver compelling presentations to C-level audiences.
· Proficient in English and other local languages (e.g., Mandarin), demonstrating strong multi-lingual skills and diverse cultural knowledge.
· Executive presence, confidence, and leadership skills that foster credibility and trust.
· Extensive business relationships within the APAC Petro / Convenience Store environment and a documented track record of sales success
· Deep understanding of the fuel and convenience store industry
· Self-driven, having the ability and desire to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Consistently positive attitude, desire for teamwork, and willingness to engage in tasks outside of the role’s core responsibilities to meet corporate needs in an agile startup environment.
· Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce.com
