Take ownership of the sales plan for STATS clients in Australia (Focus on East Coast) and New Zealand.
Support sales activities in South East Asia, as and when required.
Identify and develop new product opportunities.
Collate and build market intelligence and sales strategy.
Create, manage and maintain opportunity data in STATS in house CRM platform (Sales Hopper).
INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS Directly Reports To APAC Regional Manager
External Relationships Clients. Vendors, Trade Associations
Main Responsibilities Conduct all business in compliance with company ethics and guidelines.
Meet with both new and existing clients to promote STATS in the marketplace and expand the client awareness of the STATS organization and capabilities.
Actively promote new and existing clients to STATS product range and the relative benefits compared to other products.
Identify market gaps where STATS product range could be expanded or has an alternative use etc.
Work closely with the marketing team to raise the awareness of STATS in existing and new markets.
Promote the recording and collating of Sales & Marketing data with the Sales Hopper.
Work towards generating Sales & Marketing plan for the allocated territory.
Demonstrate delivery against allocated and agreed targets.
Complete meeting reports and allocate clear, timed and measurable follow up actions.
Generate sales visit schedule to demonstrate planned and organized approach to enhancing relationships with new and existing clients.
Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities: To comply with STATS Integrated Management System when carrying out all work.
To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times
Ensure all accidents/incidents/near misses/hazards are immediately reported and relevant paper work is completed
Internal training requirements Environmental Awareness
STATS Internal Courses – Basic Level
Qualifications HND or Degree qualified (level 2.1 or higher) in engineering or relevant business area beneficial, but not essential.
Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge Minimum 8 - 10 years sales experience within the oil and gas pipeline sector within Australasia.
Personal Qualities Highly numerate.
Engaging, trustworthy and open personality.
Highly self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
